i am so excited to be a new columnist for the super-tastic on-line magazine Design Milk! i will be writing on all things leafy and modern the last Tuesday of each month. and since this will be written for you, my community, i thought i would invite said community to help me come up with a name for the column. something witty regarding plants, plant advice, modern plant design, plant projects, plant artists (you? tell me!) and all-around plant nerdiness. oh and did i mention? the winner gets one of these:
thanks for the opportunity, Design Milk, and thanks to all you supportive weeders!

Design Root
Tend-ency for Terrariums
Design to Take Root
Tuesday Tending
i don’t know if it’s witty, but how about Milkweed? It relates back to the Design Milk site and it kind of ironic.
How about taking the word bloom (obviously important in your work) and the word rumination (to meditate on; ponder) and combining to get: Bloominations: Thoughts on all Things Green
I see I’m a little over-enthusiastic about this contest…and yet here’s another:
PISTOL WHIPPED

The Dandy Lion
(cool graphic of lion with flower mane or something)
Con:Tend
Meaning “with Tend” but also implying “contend” as the designs will challenge conventional gardening designs!
I’d call it “Green Fingers.”
