Still under the dreamy spell of this totally sustainable Inverness wedding we did back in Feb. Niki & JP were super cool clients with incredible vision and attention to detail. But most of all they were so. much. fun! And we got to take a blissful trip down Coast Highway 1 on our return home. Sigh. Big congrats, you two! ♥ Photography by Kate Harrison.

Came across these horns through a Native American goods supplier and of course anytime I see an opportunity to stuff plants where you would not expect them, I can't resist. Now who wants to do a wedding around this theme? Raw-and-organic-fem-meets-masculine-earthy-beautiful-goodness...let me at it!

when bride-to-be Maggie requested succulents, air plants AND "crazy protea" for her wedding, i thought i was dreaming. i've said it before and i'll say it again, i am blessed with the COOLEST clients! set against a backdrop of Old World California-Spanish architecture this wild botanical combination delivered a lively and slightly futuristic twist that made us ga ga with delight (mural by Oakland artist Billy Sprague). congratulations Maggie & Connor and thanks for choosing Tend! photography by Scott Caligure.

Spring Home & Garden Show

we are still reeling in the after-glow of our collaboration with Falling Waters (and consequent win, woot woot!) at the Spring Home & Garden Show earlier this month. Our "Outside the Box" exhibit was designed to bring indoor life outside in fun and inspired ways, and while we scored Best in Show (the Golden Shovel!), the real prize is the pleasure of working with this dream team led by Ryan Prange and Bret Belyea. big up to all of the exhibitors, it was an honor to be showcased alongside such pros.
